Across the Spider Verse Multiverse Watch

Hello! I’m Stephen and I like to make cardboard costumes and props.

Today I’m making the Multiverse Travel Watch used in Spider-Man Across The Spider-Verse. Who wants to come to the Spider-Verse with me?!

I’m happy with how it turned out. It looks pretty sleek and it was fun to make. I hope you guys like it and have safe travels to other dimensions!

Steps to Make A Spider-Verse Travel Watch:

  1. Print out template.
  2. Cut pieces out of corrugated cardboard and cereal box cardboard, depending on how they are labeled on the template.
  3. 2 Wristband Layers
    1. Make sure to cut the hole for the magnet without cutting all the way through the corrugated cardboard.
    2. Scour the corrugated cardboard.
    3. Wrap around your wrist.
    4. Cut ends to fit.
    5. Hot glue velcro to the ends.
    6. Use white glue to glue the cereal box layer onto the corrugated layer.
    7. Allow it to dry.
  4. 2 Design Layers
    1. Glue corrugated pieces onto the wristband.
    2. Glue cereal box pieces on top of the corrugated pieces.
    3. Let it dry completely.
  5. Graphics and Screen
    1. Cut pieces out according to the template.
    2. Cover graphics in packing tape.
    3. Cut out.
    4. Push together the two blue inside graphic pieces and add tape in the center so they’re attached to each other.
    5. Use white glue to assemble all these pieces.
    6. Attach onto the wristband.
  6. Paint
    1. Paint in black craft paint.
    2. Once that dries, paint in 2 thin layers of silver craft paint.
    3. Paint the big button in orange.
    4. Using the reference image in the template, paint on the red design on the side.
  7. Enjoy!
